Picnic Lunch in the Wollongong  Botanic Gardens

Meet at 12.00 noon for a picnic lunch in the beautiful Wollongong Botanic Gardens.

Park in Madeline Street for 2 hours free.

Bring your own lunch, drinks and chair.

Friday 7th November

Coffee & Treat Morning at Blue Jay Cafe, Albion Park

Meet at Blue Jay Cafe on the corner of Church Street and Berrima Street,  Albion Park at 10.30am for a delicious coffee and home made treats and enjoy the great view out over the escarpment.

Saturday 8th November

Dinner & Movie Night at Warrawong

Meet at 6.00pm and enjoy dinner together at ???? then go to a movie of your choice at the Gala or Hoyts Theatres.

Monday 10th November

A Walk then Lunch at the Woolshed, Yallah

Dell B.

Meet at 10.30am at Hungry Jacks at Yallah.

We will drive to Haywards Bay for an hour’s walk alongside Macquarie Rivulet (a dog-friendly, flat walk) then re-group at 12.15pm for lunch in the café at the old Woolshed in Yallah.

The Woolshed must be approached from the Dapto end of the old Princes Highway. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating caters to dog owners.

Wednesday 12th November

Restaurant Night at the Taste of Asia Thai at Albion Park

Come along to 29 Addison St, Shellharbour at 6.30pm for dinner at the Taste of Asia Thai Restaurant.

Meals are around the $20 mark and it is BYO. Please have cash for payment.

Dapto Dogs

Come along for a fun night and perhaps the last time as the venue is due to close in 2026.

Have a little flutter and watch your dog win.

A full bar, bistro and TAB facilities. Gates open at 6pm and first race is at 7pm.

Monday 17th November

Walk and Picnic Lunch at Integral Energy Park, Dapto

Dell B.

Come along to Integral Energy Park off Darkes Rd in Dapto.

Meet at 10.30am for an hour’s walk or visit the Australian Motorlife Museum.

The park is dog-friendly and the walking track is flat. Regroup around 11.30pm for a picnic lunch near the children’s play area.

IOC Meeting Night

All Welcome!

The meeting commences at 7.30pm downstairs in the Sunken Lobby at the Fraternity Club, Fairy Meadow.

Members, guests, and visitors are welcome to join us for the meeting or come early and join us for dinner from 6.00pm in the Fraternity Bistro.

Don't forget to wear your IOC name badge to win a prize and help us to get to know each other8

Wednesday 19th November

Lunch at Doyles on the Beach at Watson's Bay

We will take the ??? train from Wollongong (2nd carriage) and then connect with the ferry to Watsons Bay at Circular Quay.

The ferry runs every half hour.

We can enjoy a take-away fish and chips lunch and sit in the park overlooking the bay.

There will be time for a short stroll up to The Gap for those interested, then the ferry and train back home

Friday 21st November

BBQ and Games at The Dairy

Come along at 4pm for games of Finska, Disc Bowls and Kubb whilst enjoying drinks and nibblies and taking in the magnificent scenery of The Escarpment.

Then enjoy a BBQ and finish the evening sitting around an open fire taking in the sunset and calls of the birds.

Bring your own meat and drink and a salad or dessert to share.

Trivia Night at Fairy Meadow Bowling Club

Join us for a fun night of Trivia at the Fairy Meadow Bowling Club.

6.30pm for a 7.00pm start.

Thursday 27th November

"The Seven" at Wollongong Town Hall

Come along and see "The Seven" at Wollongong Town Hall followed by a Questions and Answers session.

Cost is $49.

In 1964, a group of seven friends are on their way home from seeing The Beatles concert in Sydney when an incident on the train forces them to get off at Helensburgh Station. Missing the last train, they decide to try and hitch a ride. In the morning light, it becomes clear that none of them made it back.

Card & Games Night at The Bridge Club, Figtree

Join us for a fun night of cards and games at the Bridge Club Hall in Figtree.

Cost is $5 per person.

Please bring a small plate of nibbles to share for supper. No hot food as there are no heating facilities.

Doors open at 6.30pm for 6.45pm start (don't be late!)

Address: 11 Princes Highway, Figtree.
Approach can be from either north or south. Turn into the park on the north side of Figtree shopping centre carpark.

Sunday 30th November

Indoor Bowls at Warilla Bowling Club

Col W.

Enjoy a fun 2 hours of bowls with no sun, wind or rain or bumps in the grass. Meet in the foyer at 12.00 n00n for lunch and at 1.30pm play bowls.

Cost is $6 for bowls and green hire.

Socks, bare feet or bowling shoes must be worn on the green.

After the game enjoy a coffee, or a cool drink and a chat.
